Frenchy’s Wedding & Event Rentals is a family-owned event rental company with an Office/Showroom and Distribution Warehouse in Central Tucson. Our team is dedicated to offering specialty furniture, dishware, tents, and décor to clients across Southern Arizona. We take pride in our collaborations with local festivals, event planners, venues, and resorts.

We are seeking a passionate Social Media & Marketing Intern to join our team! We’re looking for someone who is highly creative and enthusiastic about learning and growing within the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, produce, and share unique content on social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), while engaging with followers to enhance brand visibility and interaction.

  • Assist in planning and crafting email campaigns, newsletters, and marketing material.

  • Create monthly content and marketing calendars.

  • Attend in-person events to capture content and footage for marketing purposes.

  • Take and edit photos and videos for use on social media channels.

  • Implement strategies to grow our following, engage with them, retain their interest, and convert them into customers.

  • Track and report on social media engagement and follower growth metrics.

  • Stay informed on social media trends and new content formats.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Photography, Art, or Design, or someone aspiring to be a Head of Marketing or Social Media for a brand.

  • A passion for social media and marketing, along with excitement for creating content. Must be extremely creative and comfortable in front of a camera while engaging with the audience.

  • Proficiency in photography and editing; experience in video editing or graphic design is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Canva is preferred.

  • Experience with Later, Hootsuite, or other social media scheduling tools is beneficial.

  • Prior experience managing social media for a brand or business is preferable but not mandatory.

  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter.

  • A keen eye for current design and style trends.

  • Excellent written and communication skills.

  • An energetic self-starter who thrives in a small team and can work independently.

  • Web savvy and skilled in internet research.

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and seek guidance when feeling overwhelmed or uncertain.

  • Flexible availability, including some weekends.

  • Reliable transportation is required.

Benefits:

This paid internship will take place from February 2025 to June 2025, with the possibility of extending into the Summer and Fall. The internship will require approximately 15-20 hours per week, with a pay rate of $16 per hour.
